Longview Luminaries – Highlighting distinguished grads
Longview Public Schools has launched an effort to spotlight the numerous individuals who were nurtured by the schools and the community, and have made significant contributions to the city, state, nation and world.
The project, called “Longview Luminaries”, will provide brief biographies of the many distinguished Longview alumni who are truly standouts. Profiles will be shared with the community through a variety of means to serve as a source of community pride and inspiration for our students.
The Longview Luminaries list will be formulated by a volunteer community task force based on an individual’s contributions and accomplishments. To submit the name of a notable alumni member, please complete the form available on the district website or at the district office at 2715 Lilac St., or by emailing.
The task force will begin its review of submissions in early April 2016. Please go to your class’s Facebook page “Like” and “Share” this post so we can get it out to as many as possible
